I realised something lately …

Advanture quietly became a record of something real.

15 issues of stories from around the world, and the photographs that go with them. Journeys, people and the vans that enabled adventure. And we published them without a care to what any algorithms thought.

While the majority of people today are caught up in the race for speed and efficiency, we’ve sat in the slow lane focused on making something that is going to last with our print magazine.

Alongside my own record of what I did for the past six years is the stories of everyone else who chose to contribute to the pages of Advanture. I finally met my people through this, ones who are living differently, buildings things and finding their own way through the world.

I’ve realised we’ve been documenting something authentic, something that Ai will never be able to take away from us.

We’ve been building a human archive.

Advanture Magazine stands for lived experiences that were captured and documented. Rather than a moment in time that disappeared into the feed. Some of the earlier issues have now completely sold out including issue 7 and 10, which are no longer available individually.

The only remaining way to own the complete collection is through the Advanture Collector’s Set.
